"Throwing Success: NUCA Southern Idaho Hits the Mark with Inaugural Cornhole Tournament!"

The NUCA of Southern Idaho Chapter was established as a charter of the national NUCA in September 2024 with 30 founding members. In November, the organization hosted its inaugural Cornhole Tournament at the Heritage Club in Boise, where 27 teams vied for the "a-maize-ing" grand prizes and bragging rights.

Cornhole is an absolute blast, and this tournament was no different! NUCA's Cornhole Tournament not only offers a fantastic chance to network with fellow members and industry insiders, but it also raises crucial funds for NUCA of Southern Idaho's legislative initiatives. Being a NUCA member gives our members a more powerful voice in shaping laws that affect their personal business. NUCA National proudly represents all our members annually in Washington DC, and each charter has the incredible opportunity to send members to engage directly with their local representatives.

This inaugural Cornhole tournament was a "corn-tastic success with 54 participants and all in attendance seemed to enjoy the enthusiastic competition. The top "kernels" of the night taking first place were Core & Main's Cory Oswald and Nathan Peña. Taking second place were Marsh McLennan "shuckers" Sam Mahr and Randy McLeod, with Core & Main's Kyle Davis and Dan Vanderveen "popping" into third place. Aaron Viegas from DP Nicoli and Matt Baker of IMCO "husked" in at fourth place. The competition was intense, but the camaraderie was stronger.
